Nursing Manager - Antepartum Unit (RN)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Manager to lead our Antepartum Unit at one of Seattle's premier healthcare facilities.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape patient care and drive excellence in a high-volume, state-of-the-art birthing program.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Antepartum Unit, ensuring high-quality patient care
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled nursing professionals
- Implement and maintain evidence-based clinical practices and protocols
- Manage unit budget, resources, and staffing to optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in antepartum or related nursing field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or MTN
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with electronic health records and healthcare technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
- 1+ year of management experience in a hospital setting
- Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB)
