Clerk Logistics II - 2nd Shift
SUMMARY
Responsible for packaging, labeling, marking and preparing shipments and documentation in accordance with Regulatory Authorities for shipments of both hazardous and non-hazardous material to customers, suppliers and testing facilities by ground and air both domestically and internationally.
Responsible for cycle counting finished goods. Able to perform all of the essential duties and responsibilities of Logistics Clerk I. Works independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Packages, labels, and marks packages for shipment and prepares all shipping documentation per SOP’s in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Schedules and prepares domestic and international shipments of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Responsible for palletizing, wrapping, and marking all shipments accurately
- Maintain inventory accuracy using ERP system
- Work within a team structure to achieve company and department goals
- Keep work area neat and clean and follow all established safety guidelines
- Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments
- Prepares and submits invoices and electronic notification to customers
- Responsible for cycle counting of finished goods
- Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments
- Unload trucking and receiving material
- Move hazardous material to designated locations
- Separate material and verify documentation
- Enter receiving information in ERP system
- Stage product for incoming inspection
- Raw material delivery
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment including hazardous materials handling experience.
DOT / ICAO certification and forklift certification is required.

A considerable amount of moving from department to department may occur in unfavorable weather conditions. The employee is exposed to the inherent dangers of the explosive materials used in DSSA, Inc.
s manufacturing processes.
