Per Diem Nurse - Option 3 - Oncology Chemotherapy Clinic

Work Schedule :

A Per Diem Registered Nurse Option III must commit to work a defined period of time for a specific department. Option III assignments require at least sixty percent (60%) FTE time commitment and may require a designated schedule commitment.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to :

• Administer IV medications and chemotherapy.
• Care for patients with urgent symptoms being seen in our Cancer Symptom Management Clinic.

Education

• Graduate of school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months of RN experience Required
• Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
• Ambulatory experience Preferred
• Relevant oncology experience Preferred
• Chemotherapy experience Preferred
• Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• Current CPR / BLS certification Upon Hire Required
• Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
