Pharmacy Billing Coordinator

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accounting Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and recording of accounting transactions, with a focus on managing and leading operations related to the administration of sponsored programs.

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage / lead operations related to the administration of grants and sponsored programs through planning and management of resources.
• Manage activities related to grants and sponsored programs (e.g., review of proposal documents including budget, monitoring of subawards, award lifecycle management).
• Support grant-related activities (e.g., preparation of proposals, cross-functional coordination for proposal development and submission).
• Develop, prepare, revise, and finalize project budgets and provide budget justifications.
• Coordinate proactively with cross-functional teams (e.g., principal investigators, research groups) to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Review award progress, monitor project changes, and ensure allowability of expenditures.
• Lead process improvement within own team by developing and implementing SOPs, policies, and systems for efficient and effective delivery.

People Managers only)

• Mentor team members to allow for skill / knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Minimum Education and / or Training :

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum Experience :

• 5+ years of experience managing multiple processes within financial administration as applicable to grants and contracts.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

People Managers only) Some experience managing or mentoring people.

Proven performance in earlier role.

Compensation :

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $22.00 - $38.50 per hour for the role of Senior Accounting Operations Specialist.
