1 year preferred License : Licensed Radiology Technologist Certifications : American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or RCIS, BLS (Basic Life Support) Must-Have : Experience with EPIC and MacLab Job Description : Perform advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography.
- Conduct electrophysiologic studies and therapeutic interventional procedures.- Assist with cardiac device implantation procedures.
- Provide peri-procedural care and education for patients.- Assist cardiologists and specialists in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Maintain records and documentation for all procedures.- Participate in on-call rotations : 1 mandatory call shift per week and every fourth weekend.
- Work in a fast-paced, high acuity environment handling approximately 20 patients daily.- Engage in structural heart procedures such as Watchman, TAVR, Mitraclips.
Additional Details : The position involves working in two EP labs handling pacemaker devices, ablations, and ICD insertions, as well as five cath labs.
It is a level 3 Cath lab setting that demands strong multitasking and procedural expertise. Note : COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but the flu vaccine is required, with medical / religious exemptions available.
Module hours are billable up to 24 hours, with 18 - 24 average hours to be completed during orientation, and self-reported to the manager.
