The Executive Director for Financial Reporting Strategic Planning is responsible for the overall oversight of the budget development and monitoring management for the University’s budget processes.

This position serves and collaborates in an advisory and resource capacity to many senior administrators throughout the University and directly for all areas under the Budget & Planning to develop strategies, policies, procedures, and metrics that assist in the creation of Boston University’s overall annual operating budget in addition to out-year budgetary and planning models.

This position has oversight and leads the efforts in creating and maintaining a team that understands the budget drivers of the University including ways that can quickly identify and model data and information to help leadership make informed decisions.

S / he has oversight of resource planning and is entrusted with providing fiscal and business control processes and strategic decision support for senior leadership.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred. More than 8 years of experience required.
