Project Manager of PLC systems design and delivery for Manufacturing Automation Systems.

Seeking a solid engineering (Electrical / Mechanical or similar) background alongside 'External Client' Automation Systems Experience (HMI, MES, SCADA, Process Control, DCS or similar.

Desired Skills / Experience :

Experience working in a similar 'Key Communicator with External Client' / Project Management or Project Coordination role surrounding Electro-Mechanical Control Systems (PLC based Systems, Process Control, DCS, HMI, SCADA) ideally for manufacturing, production, or similar;

Experience working for an OEM type company that builds and designs PLC based systems (ideally for customers in the manufacturing industry) is preferred.

Experience Documenting External Client Technical Specs and Overall PLC based system Details based on Customer Needs including but not limited to : Overall System Summary, Bid Sheets, System Build and Install Hours Estimations, Cost of Materials estimates, Lists of Parts / Bill of Materials, Detailed Written Description of Customer Needs vs.

to be built) System that will resolve customer problems and address customer needs.

• Experience creating formal or informal details surrounding PLC based System Bids, Proposals, Tendering, RFI / RFQ (request for information / request for quote) is a strong plus.
• Engineering or Documentation Experience surrounding PLC based electro-mechanical Control Systems (HMI, DCS, SCADA or similar).
• Engineering Background / Training (Electronics and / or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent training is preferred)
• Excellent oral communication skills : experience working in a high-profile role and acting as the 'conduit' between : Sales-Marketing-Project Management-Engineering-Upper Management-and External Customers (experience Asking Questions and Redefining specs and Customer needs as this will be a regular part of this role).
• Excellent Written (technical and functional) Documentation Skills : MS Word and MS Excel experience are required
• Experience reading and understanding Electro-Mechanical Wiring Diagrams (AutoCAD is a plus).

Willingness to Learn (experience with any of these is a plus) :

• SQL Server or Excel another Database or Database reporting system
• Working in an ISO, FDA or other regulated environment with related ISO Standards and Documentation
• Knowledge of Networks (Windows, Unix / Linux, Wireless, RF, Ethernet, TCP / IP) and related connectivity to Electro-Mechanical Control systems.
