About The Position
Job Title : Level 2 Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine Job Specialty : Med / Surg Registered Nurse Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12-hour shifts, Day / Evening / Night;
8- and 12-hour shifts, holidays and weekends as per unit policy. Straight nights considered. Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Recent pediatric experience preferred, 2 years of Med Surg experience required License : Registered Nurse License (New York license required) Certifications : American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) required Must-Have : Telemetry experience Job Description : Provide care as part of an interdisciplinary team for a diverse patient population with conditions such as Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurological, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, and Heart Failure.
- Support patients and their families emotionally and clinically while encouraging independence.- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adapt to varying shift patterns, including potential night shifts, to meet unit requirements.- Maintain all necessary certifications and licenses as required for the role.
