We are in search of a meticulous Data Entry Clerk in the Engineering industry, located in Shoreview, Minnesota. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and switch between tasks to maintain progress.
The Data Entry Clerk will primarily be tasked with updating vendor profiles in our system, thus contributing significantly to the upcoming implementation of an automated payment tool.
This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Update supplier information in the ERP system
- Establish and maintain communication with suppliers to obtain email contact and tax information
- Enter data with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Follow up with vendors to ensure a response is received
- Switch between tasks to maintain progress and meet deadlines
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to navigate and manage data
- Monitor and update customer profiles in the MRP system
- Handle transactional issues such as PO processing and following up on past dues
- Verify dates with suppliers and coordinate shipping schedules when necessary
- Perform any additional responsibilities as required, including training on-site when needed.
- Proficiency in High-Volume Data Entry is required
- Experience with Data Entry - Numeric is preferred
- Ability to Perform Data Entry tasks with high accuracy and speed
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation
- Engineering background or previous experience in an engineering environment would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and maintaining focus for extended periods
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent education level is required
- Basic understanding of database management is desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
