Responsibilities :
- Dailycommunication with project team members clients andcontractors
- Read / interpretproject plans drawings andspecifications
- Variousinspections including underground utilities road and / or bridgeitems and report discrepancies to ProjectEngineer
- FollowQA / QCpractices / procedures
- Ensurework is compliant with plans contractorsubmittals
- Measurecalculate and determine quantities of assigned work and / orinstalledmaterials
- Ensureinstalled materials meet specifications and testingrequirements
- PrepareDaily Inspector s Reports and review otherreports
Requirements :
- AssociatesDegree in Civil Technologyrequired
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineeringpreferred
- 3years of construction / inspectionexperience
- 3years of experience in bridge / roadway constructioninspection
- Experienceworking on Michigan constructionprojects
- MDOTcertificationsrequired
- Experiencewith Bluebeam Fieldbook and MicrosoftOffice
Salaryis commensurate withexperience.
