About the Company
A cutting-edge medical company seeks a highly motivated Head of Legal, to provide strategic legal guidance and support to the organization's corporate functions.
Responsibilities
- Advise on corporate governance, SEC reporting, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports
- Provide counsel on securities law compliance and related corporate finance matters
- Support M&A activities
- Negotiate and draft licensing and agreements
- Provide counsel on clinical trials, product approvals, and post-market compliance
- Advise on employment matters
Qualifications
- Licensed attorney in good standing, CA preferred
- 10+ years of corporate legal experience in biotech / pharma
- In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations, corporate governance, and securities law
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
Pay range and compensation package
The estimated salary range at the time of this posting is $275,000 to $345,000 (DOE)
