Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MICU
Shift : Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length : 13 weeks
Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Schedule is done in 4 week increments
Requirements :Other Details :
- Documentation system : Meditech
- Procedures performed on unit : Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions
- Floating policy : Contract labor is first to float. If the staffing need is in med / surg, contract labor is expected to float to med / surg and take the assignment
Number of Beds : 31Patient Ratios : 2 : 1, sometimes 1 : 1 or 3 : 1 depending on acuity / staffingUnit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : unit secretary staffed during dayshift.
Occasional nurse extern working as a techType of equipment : Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000.Patient Experience requirements : Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients / family members.
