Responsibilities
The Human Resources Assistant will :
- Maintain confidential employee records (electronic and hard copy) of all staff members
- Assisting handling full cycle recruitment for various positions
- Respond to all verifications of employment and third-party requests timely
- Assist with full life cycle of employees from onboarding to offboarding
- Assist with time and attendance records and pulling absentee report from UKG along with other related reports
- Assist creating memorandum of over payment issues and work closely with Payroll team to recoup wages
- Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data on the HRIS system and local drive
- Maintain employee files and protect operation by keeping human resource information confidential
- Perform other related duties and projects, as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Human Resources and / or related work experience
- Associate's and / or Bachelor's Degree
- Superior knowledge completing I.9 documents including completion, and recordkeeping
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills :
- 1+ year of Recruitment experience
- SHRM-CP or comparable certification
