Role : Marketing Portfolio Program Director.
Level : Senior (requires at least 7-10 years of experience).
Location : Prefer Seattle area (our USHQ is located in Federal Way, WA). Pacific Northwest region possible.
Office Culture : We call it flexible remote. Translation : This team has required onsite days 1-2 days per month, but outside of that we’re not requiring staff to come into the office a prescribed number of days or a percentage of time each week.
Working closely with managers, employees may work virtually, work onsite following our safety protocols, or a blend of the two.
Industry : Enterprise, non-profit charity.
Salary : Full range is $100,500 - $165,800 (offers typically fall between $107,000 - $136,000). DOE.

The Job
The Marketing Portfolio Program Director is responsible for managing cross-organizational projects or priority initiatives that have major organizational implications and impacts, including beyond the World Vision United States operation to the larger World Vision Partnership, and / or to associations of which we are members.
Typically, the project budget is greater than $1 million and requires oversight of related sub-projects, the team is comprised of cross-functional staff members, and the duration is longer than two years.

Responsibilities
Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions);
incorporate World Vision Core Values into decisions within the scope of the role.
- Work directly with senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities and risks associated with projects and initiatives.
- Confirm customer needs, conduct impact analysis, and propose project plans utilizing best-practice project management methods and tools.
- Engage staff and external consultants and contract staff as necessary to meet project resource requirements.
- Direct and manage the work efforts of team members on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that work adheres to quality standards and is achieved by project deadlines.
- Track project milestones and adjust project plans and / or resources to meet client needs.
- Oversee project budget, ensuring that expenses do not exceed agreed-upon budget.
- Evaluate project progress and results and report them to senior leadership, ensuring that changes to scope, budget, resources, and risks are communicated in a timely way.
- Establish project management policies and procedures to improve project efficiency so that time, budget, and resources are used wisely.
- Ensure that training occurs about the use of new or updated systems, policies, procedures, and / or best practices that result from the project.
- Participate in meetings with project managers to update each other on the status of projects under management and mentor other project managers to ensure they develop and apply the skills and knowledge necessary to meet client expectations.
- May be asked to represent the World Vision United States office to the World Vision Partnership on partnership-wide issues.
- May manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Work collaboratively with team members when asked to serve as a member of a team.
- Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities, and changes.
The Team
As a Marketing Portfolio Program Director, you report to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations & Strategic Technology and serve on a highly motivated matrixed team of individuals focused on delivering great experiences to donors.
You will be directly part of a small but mighty team that partners across the larger Marketing, Fundraising, Creative, and Operational teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent work experience.
- In addition, this position requires 7-10 years of work experience in a complex or matrixed work environment, preferably managing major projects and initiatives within a marketing and / or technology context.
Skills

- Strong presentation and writing skills to communicate change.
- A mindset for processes that are thoughtful and efficient.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with senior leadership.
- Experience in marketing or working with marketing teams is highly desired.
Salary Range & Benefits
Your compensation and benefits are important to you so they’re important to us. The full salary range for this role is $100,500 - $165,800.
The typical hiring range is $107,000 - $136,000. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
