We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our team. This role is situated in Lynnwood, Washington, and is within the construction industry.
As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various accounting and financial aspects of construction projects.
Responsibilities :
- Accurate handling of high-volume invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable processing for multiple projects.
- Production of monthly project-specific applications for payment and lien waivers.
- Tracking and inputting data related to project budgets and costs.
- Assisting project managers with both owner and subcontractor change orders and entering them into the management system.
- Production and tracking of all subcontracts and their associated requirements.
- Collecting, reviewing, and entering subcontractor and vendor billings, and coordinating with project managers for final approvals.
- Participating in the monthly review of project budgets, costs, and profit.
- Using accounting software systems to perform various accounting functions.
- Utilizing skills in Deltek, Costpoint, and other relevant systems to manage accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and other related tasks.
- Performing other related duties as assigned or needed.
- Possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience in a project accounting role within the construction or contracting industry.
- Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems.
- Demonstrates experience with ADP - Financial Services.
- Skilled in Costpoint.
- Experienced in using Deltek and Deltek Vision.
- Familiarity with About Time software.
- Able to perform all Accounting Functions.
- Has experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Possesses auditing skills and experience.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Displays a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Has the capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Shows a high level of integrity and adherence to professional ethical standards.
