Responsibilities
State Farm is offering a rare opportunity to join a high performing, Fortune 50 company, in the Law Department's Public Policy Resource Group.

The State Farm Corporate Law Department is hiring an intern for Summer 2025. The internship will provide a realistic exposure to and hands-on experiences with a variety of areas within the law department and State Farm.
The selected intern will join the Public Policy Resource Group unit, a division of the Legislative / Regulatory Section of the Law Department.
The unit operates as a think tank for the Enterprise on issues related to public policy. Competitive candidates do not need to be pre-law students or have a desire to pursue a law degree but should have an interest in policy issues, personal growth and development, and be seeking an opportunity with an insurance industry leader.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to identifying emerging public policy issues, researching public policy issues that have an impact on State Farm's business, and writing position papers.
Qualifications
Full-time students currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one full semester remaining after the duration of the internship.
This is an experiential internship not leading to an offer of full-time employment.

- Summer Internship Dates : 5 / 19 / 2025-8 / 1 / 2025
- Hours : Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
- Pay : $23 / hour . In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!
- Work Arrangement :
- HYBRID : Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.
Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
