Now Hiring Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) In Harlem, CA Area!
We are currently seeking aSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP / SLPA). School-based experience preferred, but not necessary.
This position will provide direct and indirect service.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support the patients goals.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and coping mechanisms.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for educational planning.
- Stay updated with current research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
