We arehiring for a local company who is in need of a service advisor.Dutiesinclude :
- Greetcustomers and answer service calls in a timely friendlymanner.
- Scheduleappointments and communicate with customers to determine the natureof the mechanical problem(s) establish a time line and estimate thecost ofrepair.
- Conductpreliminary inspection of customer s vehicle by lifting hood andvisually assess for potential additional repairsneeded.
- Testdrive vehicles or refer to the test technician asnecessary.
- Assignsequence numbers to each customer s repair orders obtain customerand vehicle data establish customer s payment method and ensure alldocuments are accounted for andsigned.
- Maintaincustomer satisfaction by following up on repair orders contactingcustomers regarding any changes in the estimate or time promisedand recording all changes on theRO.
- Accomplishthe forecast that has been established bymanagement.
- Advisecustomers on the care of their vehicles and the value ofmaintaining their vehicles in accordance with the manufacturersspecifications using maintenance menus (ifapplicable).
- Ifadditional work is needed explain the details to the customerincluding the additional cost and timeconsiderations.
- Followall company safety policies and procedures and immediately reportany accidents to a manager orsupervisor.
- Allother dutiesassigned.

- Abilityto lift to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance stand for multiplehours during shift and regularly stoop kneel crouch crawl reachhandle andfeel
