Here is the Role :
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading the integration and execution of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes.
This senior-level role oversees the alignment of capability requirements, resource allocation, and program execution to support the delivery of critical capabilities.
The Senior Program Manager ensures requirements are properly vetted through the appropriate requirements governance structure, such as Functional Capability Boards and the Joint Requirements Oversight Council.
They monitor and analyze the performance of approved capability solutions, identifying opportunities for program adjustments or reallocation of resources.
Your Responsibilities :
- Lead the integration and execution of the JCIDS and PPBE processes to ensure alignment between capability requirements and resource allocation
- Oversee the development and validation of capability requirements through the appropriate governance channels
- Monitor the performance of approved capability solutions and make recommendations for program adjustments or resource reallocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective program execution and delivery of critical capabilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the resource allocation process and improve program performance
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to program teams, ensuring they are equipped to meet program objectives
- Represent the program and advocate for resource allocation and capability prioritization with senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and standards governing the JCIDS and PPBE processes
Skills and Experience you need :
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business, engineering, or a related discipline)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, with a strong background in JCIDS and PPBE processes
- Proven track record of leading the integration and execution of complex, multi-disciplinary programs
- Extensive knowledge of capability development, requirements definition, and resource planning
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyze program performance data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience in working with senior leadership and navigating complex organizational structures
Extra Credit if you have :
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- PMP or other relevant certification
- Experience working in a defense or government environment
- Knowledge of agile project management methodologies
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques

Travel Requirements :
Must be willing to travel up to 10-15% nationally and internationally for client business as needed .
Physical Requirements :
- Work is performed in hybrid / remote office environment and requires operating standard office equipment and keyboards .
- Must be able to lift small packages or other items up to 20lbs and travel short or long distances in a car, airplane, or other vehicle of transportation to client destinations nationally and internationally if needed.
