Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations , particularly OSHA standards and any specific guidelines for school or municipal projects.
• Review blueprints and construction documents , ensuring compliance with all municipal, state, and federal codes.
• Oversee project budgets , ensuring cost control measures are in place and reporting any deviations.
• Resolve on-site issues swiftly by being the go-to problem solver, ensuring timely project progression.
• Deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality, ensuring that municipal and school infrastructures are durable, functional, and safe for public use.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, especially in municipal and school construction projects .
• Strong understanding of government contracting, public sector project requirements , and compliance regulations.
• Familiarity with construction methods, codes, and safety regulations specific to educational and municipal buildings.
• Excellent leadership skills , with a proven ability to manage diverse teams and foster collaboration.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with public stakeholders, subcontractors, and upper management.
• Proficiency in construction management software (such as Procore, Buildertrend) and project scheduling tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents with precision.
