We're hiring full-time Orthodontic Assistants for our fast-paced, patient-focused practice. No experience? No problem - we provide paid, on-the-job training to set you up for success. Candidates must be flexible and willing to travel to our Oconomowoc, Johnson Creek, and Watertown offices as needed.

  • What You'll Do : Patient Flow

  • Prepare and sanitize treatment units before each patient.
  • Greet and seat patients promptly, ensuring they are never left unattended.
  • Anticipate and assist the orthodontist during procedures.
  • Accurately chart patient procedures, including charges, codes, and scheduling for follow-up visits.
  • Dismiss patients while explaining procedures and progress to parents.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality according to HIPAA and other relevant guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary to support the operations of the clinic
  • Clinical Procedures

  • Master and perform all tasks outlined in the training checklist.
  • Use downtime effectively and proactively.
  • Provide support to clinic operations and assist the clinical team during unexpected appointment delays.
  • Support Treatment Coordinator (TC) as needed.
  • Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Familiarity with medical or dental terminology is a plus
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and writing
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Consistently showcases versatility in thriving independently and contributing constructively to team dynamic
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the clinic
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and patient needs
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Full range of motion
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Maintaining a positive and proactive attitude

    Salary Description

    $17.50 - $27.00 / per hour
