Our allergy and immunology teams work together because the ways in which these conditions impact the body’s systems are similar.

Our immunology team is a national leader in treating and managing primary immunodeficiencies in infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

The team sees more than 1,500 children and teens annually with allergic disorders, including , , , and hives. The team has expertise in food allergies, including IgE-mediated food allergy, gastrointestinal food allergy, and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

Associate's Degree ASN (Required)

Bachelor's Degree BSN (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience

1 year RN experience (Required)

Required Skills / Knowledge

The licensed Registered Nurse will successfully complete the hospital and nursing orientation at Children’s National.

Keep knowledge base current with new information or changes in specialty area.

Required Licenses and Certifications

Registered Nurse licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia dependent upon location of practice. (Required)
