About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2753 To $3059 Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8-hour shifts, primarily evenings with rotation to days and nights;
some weekend coverage required Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years preferred License : Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certifications : Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years Must-Have : Ability to function as a team member and work cooperatively and communicate effectively with patients, staff members, and physicians Job Description : Perform duties of an MRI Technologist to achieve efficient, high-quality patient care- Ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis following established protocols- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to determine additional imaging needs and provide the best care possible- Maintain patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures- Operate MRI equipment and report any malfunctions or necessary maintenance- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations in the MRI department- Participate in continuous education and training opportunities to remain current in the field- Rotate shifts as required and provide some weekend coverage
