General Manager

Summary : Lead all restaurant operations.

Compensation : $75k-$85k / year

We’re in search of an enthusiastic and dependable team player to join our 13 Coins family as a General Manager. 13 Coins is an iconic establishment that has been serving the greater Seattle area for 50+ years.

We are an upscale restaurant, featuring a wide variety of menu items that are prepared in our exhibition-style kitchen. Come visit us to get an idea of the classic 13 Coins experience- we highly recommend sitting at the counter!

Qualifications / Skills :

• 2+ years supervisory experience in the restaurant industry
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant
• 2+ years banquet experience
• Knowledge of budget, inventory and scheduling
• Leadership skills- ability to motivate and teach

Other Responsibilities :

• Budget Management including : food, bar, labor, operating costs
• Operations : managing service standards, delegating staffing needs, bar control, kitchen control
• Coordinate facilities maintenance
• Communication / Teamwork : maintain open lines of communication with all restaurant staff
• Hiring Standards : Support restaurant orientation and initial training and lead ongoing development
• Perform additional responsibilities, although not as detailed, as requested by Senior Leadership, Ownership at any time
