Full-Time Special Education Teacher in Kansas City, KS
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Special Education Teacher position in the Kansas City area. This school-based role requires a dedicated professional with a bachelor's degree in education, a master's or doctoral degree in special education, and an active Special Education state teaching license.
Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
Requirements :

- Active Special Education state teaching license.
- Compliance with all local and state regulatory requirements.

Job Duties : As a Special Education Teacher, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Providing instruction tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each student.
- Collaborating with parents, school staff, and related service providers to support student learning and progress.
- Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress to ensure educational goals are met.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
