Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience. Salary range starts at $400,000 (for a faculty member in the first year out of fellowship).

It is the only Level 1 pediatric trauma center in Manhattan and provides world-renowned care in general surgery, craniofacial surgery, heart surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery and urology surgery.
The hospital is one of the birthplaces of pediatric radiology with a long tradition of excellence in the field. Our pediatric IR team has a strong and very collegial working relationship with pediatric surgery and all pediatric subspecialties, including co-leadership in the multidisciplinary pediatric Vascular Anomalies Group.
Procedures performed include both arterial and venous interventions, liver and renal transplant interventions including TIPS and complex biliary and vascular interventions, interventional oncology including radioembolization, chemoembolization, immunoembolization, microwave ablation, and cryoablation, IVC placement and complex removals, sclerotherapy and embolization of vascular malformations, prostate artery embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, superficial and deep venous interventions, dialysis interventions including percutaneous fistula creation, musculoskeletal interventions including osteoid osteoma and aneurysmal bone cysts, and arterial embolization for pediatric trauma.
The Division of Interventional Radiology offers the full scope of outpatient and inpatient practice and performs over 10,000 procedures a year.
The division covers a diverse array of sites including a large tertiary academic center in New York City, NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital (MSCH), two community hospitals in Westchester, and two robust outpatient centers in midtown Manhattan and Tarrytown, NY.
