Our client is a prestigious, global investment firm that has been a leader in the industry for 20+ years. With a HQ in Greenwich, Connecticut, this firm has over 500 employees and manages more than $150B AUM for various institutional investors.
They are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join their special investments group where you will be building various applications within the Python ecosystem.
Job Title : Senior Software Engineer / Quantitative Research Developer Location : Office in Greenwich, CT (50min commute from Grand Central).
This is a hybrid role, with an onsite requirement 3x per week. Required Technology and Skills :
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with expertise in Python
- Strong understanding of Python ecosystem such as Pandas, NumPy, StreamLit, etc.
- Experience and understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-based application development
- Expertise in big data applications
- Great communication skills and ability to gather and implement requirements
- Great work ethic and ability to work autonomously without need for micro-management
- Experience working in financial services / trading applications / Front-office applications
Additional Skills :
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field
- Experience supporting financial / trading and / or mission-critical applications
Salary Range : 170,000 200,000 base salary, plus $35,000 $50,000 annual cash bonus (Total cash compensation $200,000 $250,000).
