Full-Time Nanny for a Two Year Old and a Infant in Myers Park

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 2-year-old and an infant.

The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 8 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be patient, nurturing, reliable, organized, safety-focused, and experienced in simultaneously caring for a toddler and infant.

The family is seeking a nanny who excels in communication and will collaborate with them while respecting their parenting approach.

Their daughter attends preschool three days a week, with Mom and Dad taking care of drop-offs and pick-ups. During the day, the nanny should actively meet the children's needs and engage them in fun, educational activities to help them achieve developmental milestones.

The ideal candidate will be kind but firm and skilled at redirecting behavior when necessary. Their 2.5-year-old loves arts and crafts, coloring, and outdoor play;

additionally, the nanny should foster an educational environment where she can learn basics like numbers, letters, shapes, and colors.

When caring for their son, the nanny will assist in creating a daytime eating and sleeping schedule and engage him in age-appropriate activities such as tummy time, playing with toys, and reading to him.

The nanny will be encouraged to take the children to various outings and activities throughout the community, such as Storytime, Imaginon, Discovery Place, and Freedom Park.

Dad works from home, and the nanny should be comfortable with this and respect proper work-from-home boundaries.

Nanny Responsibilities Include :

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children(Feeding, Changing, Napping)
• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level
• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority) :

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly
• Children’s meal prep
• Unloading / loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles
• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children
• Keeping children’s rooms and play area tidy
• Picking up after the nanny and children throughout the day
• Emptying diaper pail, stocking diapers and wipes, and letting the family know when to reorder

Qualifications :

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
• Have a college degree or equivalent experience
• Have a professional resume
• Fill out a complete online application
• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency
• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have safe and reliable transportation
• Have a minimum of three professional references
• Be non-smoking / vaping
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
• Must be up to date on vaccination, including TDAP, prior to starting the position. Covid-19 vaccine and the Flu vaccine are preferred but not required.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits :

• This position starts ASAP
• Legal pay is offered at $23.00-$28.00 an hour, depending on experience
