Solar Project Manager
Recharge Recruitment are working with one of the leading Solar Contractors in the US to recruit a Solar Project Manager.
This role will focus on managing multiple C&I Solar projects across Florida. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of Solar projects, for an award winning organisation that has been established for nearly 2 decades, having already completed projects producing over 250 Mw of renewable energy solutions.
The position is based in Florida and will require travel across the state to visit multiple sites.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Design Coordination and Documentation : Develop design documents based on sales engineering and contract specifications, ensuring alignment with budget, site conditions, and project feasibility by collaborating with internal and external engineering teams.
- Project Planning and Management : Organize, schedule, and oversee the activities of construction managers and subcontractors to meet project goals, while maintaining effective communication with the building owner to facilitate construction activities.
- Project Oversight and Financial Management : Monitor and control construction progress to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget, manage contracts and financial aspects, and represent the company in meetings and negotiations to protect its interests.
- Compliance and Documentation : Ensure adherence to company, client, and project policies, maintain official project documentation, and assist with safety program implementation while reviewing contracts and engineering drawings for project compliance.
- Project Communication and Risk Management : Facilitate weekly project meetings, track action items, maintain up-to-date construction documents, manage daily reporting and labor budgets, and conduct risk planning and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
The right candidate for this role will have around 1-4+ years experience of Project Management and be familiar with Solar and / or Renewable projects
