• JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of a radiologist, the technologist will perform a

variety of procedures that will require independent judgment, with

ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for

diagnosis or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas

or procedures as required. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to

prioritize the patients as number one, and to put forth the utmost

quality as a technologist.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact

effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional

stress and gather / exchange patient information with medical

personnel and physicians.

four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination
