Responsibilities

The Financial Services Experience Team manages the current state and aspirational experience in various phases of work across Life, Health and Investment Planning Services (LHIPS) including influencing design of solutions, decisions, prioritization of experience related work and alignment to product line strategy.

We are looking for an intern to be a part of the core team developing this strategy. There will be heavy partnership and collaboration with enterprise experience and technology areas to design, monitor and execute on the desired experience as well as internal Go-to-Market / Change team to prepare agents and customers for the change.

In addition to enterprise technology and go to market, experience will align closely with agency partners to identify opportunity for customers experience improvements and business operations to focus on continuous improvement of experience with the aspiration of leading the industry benchmark.

LHIPS experience will also collaborate with enterprise product lines to create a consistent remarkable experience with every interaction.

As an intern you, will get to :

• Develop and execute comprehensive experience strategy to meet business goals, provide insight and deliver customer improvements for delivery of new products, enhance existing experiences across Life, Health, and Investment Planning Services.
• Increase visibility into experience metrics as well as analyze data to identify areas for improvement to drive continuous improvement of customer experience.
• Understand and implement industry standards and develop leading best practices that exceeds industry benchmarks for customer experience.
• Align closely with all enterprise product lines to ensure a consistent / remarkable customer experience.
• Direct influence of any platforms, websites, or documents that customers will have access to including user interface, self service capabilities and customer exposure to process flows.
• Collaborate with various departments including operations, agency, enterprise technology, back office, and enterprise business partners to align customer experience initiatives with business strategy.
• Opportunity to lead cross functional project efforts to implement value added customer experience improvements in cooperation with business partners.
• Be a voice for customer experience across customer acquisition, product / platform launch, execution of product line strategy and operations.

Qualifications

Who We Are Looking For :

• Current sophomores or juniors majoring in Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related
• Impactful course work : User Experience (UX)
• Microsoft office, with experience in OneNote, Excel and SharePoint
• Strong PowerPoint skills and / or ability to learn additional visualization and storytelling techniques
• Strong written / verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, often with short turnaround times
• Ability to apply strategic thinking to positively impact business outcomes
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to support product line goals and messaging
• Desired competencies : Communication, Teamwork, Relationship Building, Technical / Functional Expertise, Strategic Business Focus

Internship Program Eligibility :

To be eligible for the summer internship program, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.

Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.

S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity.

What You Can Expect :

• Summer Internship Dates : 5 / 19 / 2025-8 / 1 / 2025
• Hours : Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
• Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
• Pay : $30.00 / hour. In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!
• Hybrid Work Arrangement : Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.

Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
