We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Location : N171 W21840 Caymus Ct. Jackson, WI 53037

Hours : 8 : 00am - 6 : 00pm CST 4 days per week. Candidate expected to do a Saturday rotation 8 : 00am - 4 : 00pm CST every 8-9 weeks.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to asset in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicates with solid professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned
  • This is a closed-door pharmacy with no face-to-face patient contact; all patient contact is over the phone

Required Qualifications :

  • Active and unrestricted licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Wisconsin OR the ability to obtain license within 60 days of employment (must complete application prior to start date)
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer skills such as typing
  • Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications :

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 1+ years of data entry experience
  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience
