ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Lynchburg, VA, for the 2024-2025 school year.
This role offers the opportunity to work with students across various grade levels, providing vital speech therapy services that contribute to their communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Therapy Services : Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students, enhancing their communication abilities and academic performance.
- Assessment & Planning : Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaboration : Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate speech therapy into each students educational experience.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and re-evaluations, while monitoring student outcomes.
- IEP Participation : Actively engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development and tracking of student goals.
Qualifications :
- Licensure : Must hold an active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Education : Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience : Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills : Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential.
