About the Role :
We are excited to grow our team of high school teachers who are committed to continuously improving curriculum and instruction through collaboration.
As a teacher with Talent Vision, you will be placed in a role where you will be expected to :
- Demonstrate expertise in Mathematics content knowledge, particularly in High School Algebra 2 / Pre-Calculus.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of Mathematics interventions targeting specific math skills.
- Be comfortable with online applications to enhance learning.
- Design and implement curriculum and assessments that measure progress towards academic standards.
- Use data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
- Be receptive to weekly coaching and committed to growing and strengthening your practice.
- Provide consistent rewards and consequences for student behavior.
- Implement multiple techniques to increase student engagement and check for understanding.
- Be accountable for students’ mastery of academic standards.
- Be familiar with Google Classroom and virtual meeting platforms.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Essential Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Teaching experience in an upper elementary, middle, or high school with an underserved population.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse audiences.
- Valid NJ Teacher Certification completed or in progress.
