About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Emergency Department - Trauma Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM, 3 x 12-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend Required Guaranteed Hours : 36.
00 hours per week Experience : Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an Emergency Department environment. Recent ED experience within the past six months is required.
License : Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications : BLS-AHA, NIHSS Must-Have : Demonstrated level of performance and practice- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel Job Description : Be ready to care for patients when they need assistance the most.
- Provide specialized and innovative services in the Emergency Department.- Handle a variety of emergency situations for patients of all ages.
- Be trained in dealing with various trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.- Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions.
- Prioritize patients' injuries and medical needs effectively.- Work in a busy unit with 1 : 6 + ratios.- Contribute effectively during holiday requirements, working 3 out of 6 holidays.
