Accountant
- Reconcile bank activity daily
- Send invoices and past dues to customers
- Post checks and ACHs received, and make deposits
- Prepare A / R reports
- Calculate and remit Sales & Use tax to multiple states
- Book general Journal Entries in the system, as needed
- Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Prepare A / P reports and send to management / owners for review
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Process check requests
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Assist with other projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proficient with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Some business courses taken in college, including Principles of Accounting I & II
- Extreme attention to detail; i.e., mistakes jump off the page
- Experience with QuickBooks (desktop version)
