The Amazon General Intelligence (AGI) Alexa Information team is looking for a Senior UX Designer to elevate experiences across Alexa’s suite of AI products on devices, mobile and the web.

You will conceptualize and craft world-class experiences, collaborate with UX designers, visual designers, researchers, engineers, product managers throughout the design and development lifecycle.

Key job responsibilities

Work closely with Research, Product and Engineering to identify, plan, scope and execute end-to-end design solutions

Design and develop innovative patterns and systems that are durable, repeatable and set a new standard for craft across the company

Create, collaborate, and iterate on prototypes, user journeys, and key flows

Contribute to the visioning, sequencing, tactics, and execution of Alexa Info experiences

Lead high priority product design projects that meet customer needs with consumer-friendly experiences for Alexa

Contribute to product vision, and collaborate with a team that defines and designs user interfaces, systems, and the interaction, visual, and motion design patterns

Drive elegant design solutions from early concept through final implementation and iteration

Use systems-level design thinking to drive design solutions from your team that scale

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of design experience

Have an available online portfolio

Knowledge of usability principles and techniques

Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design

Experience using tools such as Figma, Origami, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and other design software.

Experience with motion design, prototyping and storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with designing for Machine Learning systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
