Responsibilities
An established medical center in New York, New York, has an open Infectious Disease position.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focusing on HIV care within a supportive and well-equipped clinic.
Position Overview :
Schedule : Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with minimal call responsibilities.
Clinic Focus : Spend 4 days per week in the clinic, where you’ll provide primary care to patients who are HIV positive, and 1 day dedicated to administrative duties.
Patient Volume : 15-20, focusing on bread and butter ID cases.
Requirements : Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation : Competitive base salary + RVUs

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered MD or DO New Jersey state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as an Infectious Disease Physician
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
