Job Description :
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and a commitment to helping students with diverse needs achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including inclusion classrooms and resource rooms.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the success of each student.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping all students succeed.
