Senior Manager / Director of Accounting
Dallas, TX - onsite to start
One of Vaco's PE backed distribution clients is looking to onboard a Director of Accounting as part of an overall effort to upgrade their finance and accounting teams as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting : Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Internal Controls : Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- General Ledger Management : Oversee the general ledger system, including chart of accounts maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Audit Coordination : Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
- CPA required
- Public accounting experience highly preferred
- Large PE backed environments preferred
