This role is part of a team which develops and supports several critical systems for the student related business operations of the university.

We are searching for an engineer to design, develop, maintain, and support various web-based applications and the associated technologies that accompany them.

In addition, we're looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of C#, .NET, Angular, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and deploying applications in a Windows environment.

We are looking for someone who shares our values and who will support the mission of the university through their work. Your core responsibilities will include : Design, develop, test, and maintain new and existing applications or systems.

Capture and provide input on functional specifications and requirements. Support business user questions / issues regarding applications and / or systems issues and availability Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Proficiency with web application development Proficiency with Angular, AngularJS Proficiency with best practices in database design and sophisticated knowledge of SQL queries and various SQL reporting tools Preferred proficiency with git, gitLab, or other version control software Proficiency with C#, .

NET Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS Ability to debug and troubleshoot various application, networking, and integration issues.

Ability to follow accurate software engineering practices such as : documentation, development of test suites, version control, and project management.

You should demonstrate : Good interpersonal (written & oral) communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and connect with end users.

Ability to understand and follow directions as well as able to give clear directions to others. Excellent organizational, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills are highly desired.

Strong computer programming skills are required. Strong data analytics skills are required. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline 1-3 years of technical experience Proficiency with web application development Proficiency with Angular, AngularJS Proficiency with best practices in database design and sophisticated knowledge of SQL queries and various SQL reporting tools Preferred proficiency with git, gitLab, or other version control software Proficiency with C#, .

NET Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS Ability to debug and troubleshoot various application, networking, and integration issues Ability to follow accurate software engineering practices such as : documentation, development of test suites, version control, and project management A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
