Automotive Diesel Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled DieselMechanic for our shop. Several years of diesel and gas engineexperience is preferred.
Dealership experience is also preferred.The qualified candidate above all must demonstrate integrityattention to detail and be accurate and efficient when performingwork as outlined on repair orders.
Other dutiesinclude :
- Duplicate diagnose and repair full range of automotiveservice issues found on DIESEL vehicles including those of allelectrical systems engine transmission suspension braking systemand emissionsystems
- Useshop equipment and diagnostic equipment with confidence and inaccordance with all safetyprocedures
- Expertly diagnose issues based uponexperience analysis andtesting
- Possess an increasingly broad knowledge ofhow DIESEL vehicles components work andinteract
- Perform routine service inspections testand lubricate engines and other majorcomponents
- Know and adhere to safety andenvironmental standards for maintenance / repair facilities andmaintain a clean and safe workingenvironment
- Communicate with ServiceAdvisors
- Accurately complete repair orders andinspect diesel vehicles for safetyconcerns
- Other items as deemed necessary bymanagement
Requirements
Diesel MechanicQualifications :
- Certifications preferred butnot required
- State Inspectors License preferred but not required
- High school diploma / GED required
- Must have valid driver s license andexcellent driving record.
