About The Position
ID : 59405049 Shift : 8 hours Description : In-house therapy team, smaller daily caseloads with emphasis on optimizing time with patients, high acuity, AL and IL population, and program and certification support!The Parks Senior Living provides short- and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to the senior population in our community.

Speech Therapist Job and implement Speech Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients. If CFY, must be under supervision as needed from the SLP clinical supervisor (SLP clinical supervisor available upon starting).
Assist as needed with patient screens for Speech Therapy.Communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.
Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, facility, and payor requirements.Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patient s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
