Responsibilities :
- Assist in assessing patient needs and planning care during surgeries.
- Provide hands-on assistance in the operating room, including instrument use, tissue handling, hemostasis, and suturing.
- Mentor and precept others within your area of expertise.
Qualifications :
- Certification as a First Assistant (NBSTSA; CSFA or NSAA; NCCSA certification).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- High School Diploma / GED.
- 1 year of OR CST experience required.
Salary Range :
Estimate your hourly earnings based on experience :
- 2 years : $32.60 / hr
- 5 years : $34.60 / hr
- 10 years : $39.34 / hr
- 17 years (max) : $42.77 / hr
