About the Role

We are looking for a co-op to join our product management team to build out solutions to support our customers. This position will support growth of our primary software platform as we accelerate upgrades and create new solutions for customers.

The role will work with our Product Managers to support the full lifecycle of a product, defining work for cross-functional teams to bring to market products and services that deliver unique benefits and superior value to the customers and thereby to Sensitech.

This will involve working with stakeholders to refine needs and engineering teams to define the solution to those needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Champion for the features that you work to supporting strategic and tactical initiatives to generate new market share and to ensure customer retention
  • Understand, document, and communicate product / service solutions to be addressed, the value to be provided to the target customers, market size, competitive landscape, business risk, and the financial and strategic opportunity that the product or service represents for the company
  • Understand business and commercial drivers and help create the business case and the requirements for potential new products and product enhancements
  • Translate customer and market needs along with regulatory and technology trends into product requirements and customer use cases.

Work with Engineering and Product Owners in the detailed requirement definition and prioritization process.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher).
  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications

  • Available to work onsite in Beverly, Massachusetts for the duration of the Co-Op period, January through August 2025
  • Strong problem-solving, & analytical thinking skills
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the intersection between user needs, technology requirements, and business goals.
  • Understanding of agile principles and collaboration tools including Confluence, Jira, or similar software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office
  • Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced environment
