Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit : Rehabilitation Unit

Type : Temporary

Shift : Days

Your Role

As a dedicated Registered Nurse in our Rehabilitation Unit, you will provide exceptional direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process in alignment with the highest standards of practice. Your expertise will make a significant impact on our patients' recovery journeys.

Reporting Structure

You will report directly to the Post Acute Director .

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and clinical treatments while ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and communicate patient conditions effectively with the care team, physicians, and families.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate seamless patient care, including transfers and discharges.
  • Evaluate and address the educational needs of patients and families, tailoring information to their unique circumstances.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of each patient.
  • Ensure quality of care by measuring health outcomes against established goals and standards.
  • Facilitate problem-solving among staff and communicate essential issues to nursing administration.

Qualifications

  • Education : Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Licenses : Current RN license to practice in Kentucky or a valid multistate license.
  • Certifications : American Heart Association BCLS required. New hires with BLS certification from other organizations must complete the American Heart Association version within 30 days.
  • Skills : Strong critical thinking abilities, decisive judgment, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
