Scheduler / Operations Assistant - Various clients (Washington)

PoliTemps is seeking sharp, political, PR, media, and public affairs temporary staff for various assignments in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

Scheduler / EA :

Manage schedules, travel arrangements, logistics and meetings for senior principals.

Research :

Provide briefing materials and background for client / vendor meetings.

Operations / Personnel :

Maintain records, assist with talent & hiring, and onboarding / offboarding. General : Support financial and legal tasks, vendor management, and client management.

We seek candidates who are politically savvy and have experience in at least one of the following : campaigns, Congress, the Executive Branch, or in a legislative capacity.

PoliTemps place candidates in temporary, temp to perm, and permanent positions. Assignments fall within a range of duties and responsibilities, depending on the candidates' experience and the client's specific needs. Admin, clerical, research, legislative research and tracking, event support, social media and content publishing, public relations, and media relations are examples of some of the assignments we have filled.

Applicants must live in the Washington DC metro area, be open and flexible to a variety of assignments, and be available to work 30-40 hours / week. You must be available for temporary assignments and currently not working in a permanent position or interning. Political Science, Government, and Communications majors are encouraged to apply. Candidates with public relations, social media, or public affairs experience are also encouraged to apply.

Our clients include blue-chip corporations, nonprofits, lobbying firms, political consultants, PR agencies, and a variety of other organizations in the Washington DC metro area. Candidates must be comfortable in an office and professional environment and adept with a variety of computer programs and software. Candidates must possess a can-do attitude and be eager to work.
