Receptionist
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Receptionist is a front-desk position that serves as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, clients, and employees.
This position requires a dependable, enthusiastic, conscientious, punctual, team player.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Greet all guests who arrive at the Manhattan office
- Maintain an orderly lobby
- Strive to build effective relationships with clients, vendors and internal Manhattan employees
- Performs general administrative skills such as formatting, editing, copying, etc.
- Maintains conference rooms
- Collect / sort mail
- Makes service calls and applicable order supplies
- Signs for deliveries and notifies appropriate recipient
- Ships packages and materials as needed
- Other duties as assigned
JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES GUIDELINES :
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Transmits professionalism
- Excellent customer service skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of receptionist, secretarial or relevant administrative experience
