As a Behavioral Medicine Multi-Site Practice Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the practices by directing, planning, and coordinating the offices.

In this position, you will be collaborating across teams, including with physicians and the Director Practice Operations, to promote efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities : Manages the work activities of physician office terviews, hires, orients and trains staff. Completes performance evaluations and makes personnel action recommendations (e.

g. discipline, discharge).Ensures optimal patient access by managing provider schedules.Monitors practice environment to ensure safety, security, and maintenance.

Ensures compliance with Akron General / PPG policies and with regulatory bodies such as : CLIA, Ohio Board of Pharmacy, and OSHA.

Collaborates with physicians, PPG Director Practice Operations and others in promoting the smooth, efficient flow of patients through the practice.

Takes appropriate steps to solve patient and guest complaints or problems.Coordinates the performance / quality improvement process in the practice.

Monitors and evaluates Press Ganey / CGCAPS practice results. Recommends, implements, and evaluates patient satisfaction initiatives.

Ensures timely and accurate completion of initiatives.Serves as electronic medical record / practice management system super user in collaboration with IT and Director Practice Operations.

Ensures accurate and timely registration, patient eligibility, and charge entry into the practice management system. Ensures collection of copays and balances at the time of service.

Collaborates with the billing department to ensure accurate compliance with the billing information.Collaborates with physicians and PPG Administration on completion of a yearly budget Maintains control of expenses within budgetary constraints.

Maintains personnel records and processes payroll. Processes check requests accurately and timely.Monitors completion of mandatory education and training in order to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements.

Ensures licensed personnel are current with their licenses on an annual basis.Serves as a liaison for other practices, internal departments, and external vendors.

Education : Associates degree preferred in business or related field.Minimum of High school graduate or GED required with the equivalent combination of relevant experience.

Certifications : None requiredComplexity of Work : Knowledge of billing and procedural diagnosis coding preferred.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to interact with patients, physicians, office staff administration, and the public effectively in a proactive manner.

Proficient with Microsoft products.Work Experience : Two years of experience in a physician office setting.Electronic medical record experience preferred.

Physical Requirements : Manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.May require extended periods of sitting, standing and walking.

Must be able to walk to attend meetings; must have normal or corrected vision to normal range.Ability to clearly communicate by phone and in person.

May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.Personal Protective Equipment : Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay RangeMinimum hourly : $27.65Maximum hourly : $42.17The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
