Shift Details : As needed (PRN) Sun- 7 : 00a-3 : 30p / Sat 3 : 00pm -11 : 30p / 11P-7 : 30a. Minimum 1 shift every six weeks

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and contribute to treatment team conferences.
- Perform initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments
- Participate in treatment team conferences
- Implement nursing plan of care
- Evaluate patient's response to interventions
- Provide direct patient care according to physician's order
- Evaluate and recognize changes in patients' status
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to behavioral health patients
- Reflect ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
- Associate's Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred
- Experience in an acute care psychiatric setting is preferred
- Evidence of leadership ability
